Embarc Studio was commissioned by Torrington Properties to conceptualize and design two new single family homes on this L-shaped through lot in South Boston’s ‘East Side’. The use of modern forms and materials for both homes is reflective of the rapidly diversifying community of Southie. The use of cedar siding on the exterior is intended to age with the neighborhood while other façade elements such as fiber cement siding and panels will remain maintenance free for years to come.
