South End | Boston, MA

A newlywed couple engaged our team to completely gut renovate a single-family South End brownstone from 1869 to become their permanent family home. Our firm was hired as both the architect and interior
designer in order to bring their dreams to a cohesive reality. The team successfully achieved the approval of a rear two-story addition which resulted in oriels on
three sides of the building ensuring copious amounts of natural light.  A true gut, everything from the custom trim profiles to the hand-painted silk wall coverings is bespoke while incorporating the clients’ traditional
aesthetic with a nod to the original structure. Knowing that we played a part in designing the backdrop for their new life as a young family made our passion
for what we do as architects and designers stronger than ever.
